End the year on a positive note — this is a nice way to give kudos for achievements during the year. Give and receive positive feedback or well-wishes by ‘post-it presents’ for the whole the team.

Steps

1. Outline the shape of large stockings on a whiteboard or large pieces of paper. One for each person in the team, with their name on it.
2. Ask the team to prepare a thank you, or well-wish note, for each and everyone in the team:
   • Write 1 sentence – something positive they observed, appreciated, or a well-wish.
   • Decorate a second post-it so that it looks like a present, and write the name of the receiver on top of it.
   • Put the decorated post-it on top of the feedback to cover up the sentence.
   • Put both post-its within the stocking outline for the person it’s intended for.
3. Have an official fake Christmas morning where everyone can grab their presents and enjoy the positive thoughts.
